My final painting featured in The Albany Gallery‘s Winter Exhibition, ‘Snow Maiden’ is also inspired by Russian folklore. The show is on until January 12th if you’d like to see it, but you can also view the artwork on the gallery’s website.
A painting which was inspired by Russian fairy tales, ‘Father Frost’ is also a part of the Winter Exhibition at The Albany Gallery. Like the previous paintings, this one was also painted on a longer and narrower piece of paper than I usually work on which I think created an interesting composition.
I’m very excited to be a part of the Winter Exhibition at The Albany Gallery in Cardiff again this year. I’ve got four paintings in the show all together, including this one titled ‘Father Christmas’ which has recently been sold at the show.
I’ll post about the other three paintings soon, but in the meantime you can view the exhibition online at The Albany Gallery website.
